Computer-Based Testing (CBT)

At KBI Schools, we are preparing students for an increasingly digital world of learning and assessment. Our in-house Computer-Based Testing (CBT) programme gives students practical experience with computer-based examinations in a structured school environment.

CBT forms part of KBI's wider Digital Technologies programme, helping students develop the confidence, familiarity and digital skills required to participate effectively in modern assessments.

What is Computer-Based Testing?

Digital Assessment

Instead of completing an examination entirely on paper, students answer questions using a computer-based testing platform.

Practical Experience

Regular exposure to computer-based assessments helps students become more comfortable navigating digital examination environments.

Exam Readiness

Students develop familiarity with the type of digital interaction required for computer-based examinations, reducing avoidable technology-related anxiety.

Part of a Wider Digital Education Programme

CBT is not treated as an isolated examination activity at KBI Schools. It forms part of our wider approach to Digital Technologies education.

Since the 2023/2024 session, STEM, Coding and Robotics have been implemented school-wide, while Computer Studies has been upgraded and renamed Digital Technologies, making digital learning a compulsory part of every student's education.

Students also engage with programming, robotics concepts, hands-on projects, Scratch and Micro:bit MakeCode activities, giving them opportunities to apply technology in practical and creative ways.
